I'm not sure if you saw my "updated" information or not. Apparently, they have "clarified" their intent to not included mandatory testing for used items. This is good news indeed. It must have been "clarified" just after I wrote the blog post, because I did try to see what all the fuss was about before I posted that blog and didn't see anything about used items being exempt from the testing as of blog post time. But, this new development does mean good news for thrift stores and consignment shops! I am concerned and thank you for posting information. I am going to contact my local kids resale shop today and see what I can do to help stop this.
