I think I last left off after Marin's birthday trip to Wal-Mart. We hadn't planned to do anything exciting for dinner that night and instead went with Marin's request to eat at a local Mexican restaurant he loves. He can seriously put away a taco. Sometimes 2.

Around 8 p.m. we started getting pretty bummed that Marin didn't have a cake. Granted he was going to have a fantastic cake on party day (by Aunt Leann of course). But, we really wanted to do some little something on his actual birthday. So, we got the best thing we could find at such a late hour. A pink frosted mini cake from Publix. All in all, he had a pretty good day.
